Managing absence training

Absence due to illness is a complex problem. It is unpleasant for the employee as well as the organisation. The costs of absence can be considerable and the right support may require a significant time investment. You are faced with all kinds of questions. How do you support someone who is absent? What is allowed and what is not? What are the steps in the Eligibility for Permanent Incapacity Benefit (Restrictions) Act? How can I have effective absence interviews with employees?

During the training course, we will discuss these and other questions in detail to help you manage and reduce absence effectively.

Result

After the training course, you will know everything about:

  • Concepts, figures and costs related to absence.
  • The main information concerning the Eligibility for Permanent Incapacity Benefit (Restrictions) Act.

  • How you can optimally utilise cooperation with the company doctor.

After the training course, you are capable of effectively holding the various absence interviews (such as reporting sick by telephone, frequent absence interview, preventative interview) and you know how to deal with psychological absence (related to personal circumstances).
